The Attorney's Low Impact Page

FACTS has extensive experience in the area of insurance fraud. Many insurance companies have relied upon us to help them weed out legitimate claims from the exaggerated or downright shady ones. We've aided a number of carriers in training their adjusters and appraisers to recognize the indicators of potential fraud.

Our low impact program, which applies a common sense comparison of real life test results to the actual reported damages - instead of obfuscation with engineering jargon - has proven to be very successful.

Why do we tell you this? Because FACTS recognizes that legitimate claims can be overlooked by insurance adjusters who have chosen not to utilize a qualified accident reconstructionist to review the file prior to the claim's denial.

If you are an attorney representing an injured client, FACTS can advise you on the technical merits of your case (see The Lawyer Page). If the insurance company has analyzed the collision, you should do it, too - but it's also important to do so if they've denied the claim and didn't have the collision analyzed.

If you have a client who may have a legitimate claim to low impact injuries, let us review your file. It's not an expensive process, and you may find that your position is far stronger than you realized.

When taking on a low impact injury case, be sure to also consider vehicle design. Despite advances in other aspects of vehicle design, the headrests on a staggering number of vehicles continue to be poorly designed and inadequate as safety devices.
